This is one of our bespoke fibre optic satellite installations.

The client did not want the dish mounted to the house and wanted it out of sight and hence it was installed with fibre optic cable.

Normal co-ax would not have been suitable for this job due to the amount of signal loss you get over long cable runs.

Fibre optic systems also allow an unlimitted amount of satellite receivers to be fed from a single dish depending on the hardware installed.

In this image the dish is shown installed on the side of garage 75m away from the main house.

The dish was installed below the ridge line so that it has a minimal visual impact.

This is an image of the fibre optic LNB, the latest technology in the aerial and satellite industry.

The black cable is for powering the fibre optic LNB.

The grey cable is the fibre optic cable itself which runs the 75m back to the house.

It is worth noting that fibre optic can be run over greater distances.
